Empathy Swarm – Soundscapes @ WIP festival

Empathy Swarm V4, our evolving sound version of the swarm has been part of WIP Festival 2024 “DE CLOUD” in autumn 2024 as part of the curatorial theme “Simulation __________ Reality”.

We enjoyed our time in Cyprus and to work with the WIP team. We especially appreciated all the keepers of the swarm who developed a quite personal and caring relationship to our Empathy swarm robots. It was a great exchange and community experience with the other artists, the WIP team and the audience. Thanks for a great festival!

Cybernetic Intimacy @ Poletnemu lutkovnemu pristanu in Maribor

We are very happy to be at a very amazing location with our Cybernetic Intimacy robots as part of the 34th Poletnemu lutkovnemu pristanu- the international puppet festival of Maribor. The former Minorite Church is the perfect space to experience the 15 channel directional sound artwork and the unfolding of this cybernetic lifeform. 

Opening: Wednesday, August 23, at 7 p.m. at Minorite Church (Vojašniški trg 1, Maribor).

Opening times: Thursday, August 24 and Friday, August 25, between 4 and 6 p.m., Saturday, August 26, between 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday, August 27, between 9 and 11 a.m. and 4 and 6 p.m.

We are very grateful to the puppet theatre and the konS ≡ Platform for Contemporary Investigative Art and especially Miha Horvat for this amazing experience!

27th MFRU International Festival of Computer Arts

As part of our kons project “Empathy Swarm Orchestra – Cybernetic Intimacy” we presented a video of Empathy Swarm in the 27th MFRU International Festival of Computer Arts in Maribor, Slovenia. From 8th till 26th October, videos of artworks in shop windows all over the city were creating a Covid conform exhibition.
