Curious Tautophone goes to biennale ‘Art for the Future’ in Moscow

Curious Tautophone – Tensor Field Ontology just came back from Australia in time to travel to Moscow!

We are excited to present our Tautophone at the First International Biennale ‘Art For The Future’ in Moscow at MAMM, Multimedia Art Museum Moscow.

The Biennale will present art projects that use the latest technologies of Industry 4.0 (neural networks, robotics, 3D animation, VR, augmented reality, 3D printers) and reflect the changes that these technologies bring to the life of every person and society.

Dates: 22 December 2021 to March 2022

Workshop Poznan – International Days at Collegium Da Vinci

Some memories of our two workshops on 28th and 29th of October for Polish students at Collegium Da Vinci . Among other workshops during their International Days, students could learn programming of generative geometries that shift their shapes with the input of sound with Katrin or build their own parabolic directional speaker robot with Adam. We hope everybody learned something new!

ORF musikprotokoll – Psychophysics Machines

We enjoyed to be part of ORF’s musikprotokoll 2019!

Our psychophysics machines and reactive field line visuals were in the center of our Robotic performance at esc medien kunst labor on Friday 4th October 2019. The next day we gave a robotic workshop and an insight into the different psycho-physics effects that are the foundation of this piece.

ORF’s radio program will feature the concert soon. We are curious how the surround microphones of ORF’s recording team captured the directional sound sculpture we created! We will keep you updated!

Rehearsal for our Saturn 3 performance

We are getting there. Setting up for our Saturn3 Performance tomorrow in collaboration with Łukasz Szałankiewicz aka Zenial at Izlog Festival. The robots and the first of the three projectors are set up, just one projector for the top-down and the one for the face projection missing.

Face-Projection Experiments: Preparing for Izlog Festival – Saturn3

Preparing for Izlog Festival  and our Saturn3 Performance on 2nd May, 10:00 pm, we are experimenting with face-tracking and real time projections onto our faces.

Yesterday night we made some first tests, using infra-red light and a filter for visible light on the camera, to track the face and its landmarks in real time, while the projection was projected back onto the face, being visible for the human eye, but not for the special camera.

It’s a first idea of how it will be when the robots take over and transform Łukasz Szałankiewicz aka Zenial into one of them during the Saturn3 performance, synthesizing sound depending on his emotions.
